The pilot residencies are currently taking place in an off-grid cabin situated near the Burnieshed, an 18th century gamekeeper’s cottage. This summer the restoration and adaptation of this cottage will begin in order to house future residencies. Designs have been led by award winning architects Maich Swift. Read more here.
The residency offers artists the opportunity to rest, work and learn in this unique location, where many species are entangled. In a time of multiple crises, we want to help generate dialogue and action that is hopeful, joyous, radical and funny.
